The shelter home program of Sacu, 14 children and 5 adults (Director, teacher Ann, cattle keeper, shelter mother and helper man) are accommodated, feed and treated. Also two children including Rachael and his brother Kalire apart from accommodation but enjoy the rest of privileges a shelter child get.

 

Under this programme area, homeless Orphans and other vulnerable children have gained a lot.  Under one shelter, boys, girls and the shelter mother have a separate bathroom and toilet.

The house has a modern kitchen, three bedrooms, dining room and sitting room.

Children under this program get clothes, shoes, beddings, three meals a day with balanced diet.

The shelter mother is responsible for clothing, washing children’s clothes and parenting the vulnerable children in the

right way.

 

Children have a responsibility of cleaning the dishes, sweeping the compound, fetching water and washing their underwear’s, Tayebwa the cattle keeper is responsible for grazing Sacu animals and milking the cow.

Isah the helper man is responsible for cleaning the toilets, cow and goat’s shelter,  digging and chopping fire wood while teacher Ann is responsible for buy all shelter items like perishable food such as fish, meat, cassava, sweet potatoes.    Ivan Nsera the director is the overall supervise of the all system where all workers do report for any problem or advice.
